How We Feed Our Cats and Kittens

| Healthy start: our kitten tasting natural food for the first time |
We believe that true health begins with proper nutrition. That’s why all our British Shorthair and Longhair cats are raised on a natural, biologically appropriate raw diet (BARF).
This food keeps them strong, healthy, and full of life — our kittens literally fly across the room when they play!
What We Feed
We alternate between carefully prepared homemade BARF meals and high-quality frozen raw food from the Finnish brand MUSH.
Their diet is based on fresh meat, organs, and natural supplements — exactly what cats are meant to eat. All our homemade meals are carefully portioned and frozen for storage, ensuring safety and freshness.
🔹 For Kittens
- Chicken and turkey (meat, hearts, stomachs, liver, bones, cartilage)
- Beef (lung, heart, meat, liver)
- Seaweed, vitamins, minerals
- Quail eggs and cottage cheese — natural sources of calcium and protein
Bone content: about 6%
Liver content: about 5%
🔹 For Adult Cats
- Chicken, turkey, and beef (meat, hearts, lungs, liver, blood, cartilage)
- Salmon — for omega fatty acids and a shiny coat
- Seaweed
- Occasional quail eggs and cottage cheese for extra nutrients
Bone content: about 5%
Liver content: about 3%
As kittens grow older, we add salmon to their diet for extra omega fatty acids that help maintain a shiny coat and healthy skin.
Why This Diet Matters
Raw feeding helps our cats stay in perfect condition:
✨ Healthy digestion and strong immunity
✨ Glossy coat and powerful muscles
✨ High energy and playful temperament
✨ Balanced growth and longevity
One important rule: raw food must never be cooked or heated.
Cooking destroys vital nutrients and makes bone components unsafe.
A Note About Dry Food
Although our cats thrive on raw food, we always keep premium dry food Grandorf available for variety and choice.
We believe in balance and respecting every cat’s individual preferences.
